How WWE Plans To Reshuffle Commentary Teams Revealed

Another reshuffle of the WWE announce teams is set to take place at the beginning of 2026, and how exactly the company are planning to change up those commentary teams has been revealed.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that the reshuffle will take effect from the January 5 episode of Monday Night Raw. Unlike past shake-ups, no new announcers will be introduced.

From the one-year Netflix anniversary episode of Monday Night Raw, Michael Cole and Corey Graves will be the commentary team on WWE's flagship show. Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett will switch to Friday Night SmackDown.

Michael Cole and Corey Graves have been the announce team on SmackDown, while Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett have been on Raw since September 2025 due to Tessitore's college football commitments. Tessitore has switched between Raw and SmackDown several times since joining WWE in 2024 due to his outside roles.

Joe Tessitore is believed to have finished up his college football duties on Saturday night when he was on commentary for the College Football Playoffs game between Tulane and Ole Miss on TNT Sports.
