How AJ Styles' X/Twitter Account Was Hacked Revealed

WWE star AJ Styles was the victim of hacking this past weekend, as somebody was able to gain control of his X account.

It was evident that something was amiss when AJ's X account began posting very racist content. Styles was unable to get into his account and saw the posts via his wife's phone.

On a video posted to his Instagram page, The Phenomenal One explained how another party was able to hack his account, saying:

"My Twitter/X…has been hacked. If you didn't know, it's some crazy stuff. I was able to pull it up on my wife's phone, because I'm unable to get into my Twitter account. They stole my SIM card, somebody allowed that at AT&T, but I got another guy working on it…some idiot, some moron, stole my phone and was able to hack Twitter".

It would appear that the 47-year-old has been the victim of a 'SIM swap' scam, where hackers target things like two-factor authentication to steal identities. The inflammatory posts have since been taken down and it appears that Styles is in the process of regaining control of his account.

The former WWE Champion is currently winding down his in-ring career and plans to retire by June 2027.
