Hangman Adam Page has won the 2025 Men's Owen Hart Cup, after defeating Will Ospreay in the tournament final at AEW Double or Nothing on Sunday night in Glendale, AZ.
A long, late-match exchange of big moves included Ospreay hitting Kenny Omega's V-Trigger, and Page hitting Swerve Strickland's JML Driver. Page tried for the Buckshot lariat, but Ospreay evaded, and attempted the Stormbreaker. Page spun out of the move, dropped Ospreay with a standing lariat, before finishing with the Buckshot version.
After the match, Page returned to the ring, where Ospreay sat dejected. Page offered his hand in respect, and Ospreay shook it.
Page will challenge Jon Moxley for the men's World title at AEW All In on Saturday, July 12 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX. Page previously held the AEW World title from November 13, 2021 to May 29, 2022.
Page defeated Josh Alexander and Kyle Fletcher en route to the finals. Ospreay had defeated Kevin Knight and Konosuke Takeshita.
The list of prior Men's Owen Hart Cup winners includes Adam Cole (2022), Ricky Starks (2023), and Bryan Danielson (2024).
