Dominik Mysterio Possibly Out Of Action With A Concussion

Dominik Mysterio was nowhere to be seen on the March 16 episode of Monday Night Raw and the AAA Mega Champion is possibly on the shelf with a concussion.

It was announced during WWE Raw that Mysterio was not medically cleared following his AAA Rey de Reyes match. The Judgment Day still appeared on Raw to address turning on Finn Balor, with Liv Morgan claiming that she had planned to kick Balor out of the faction ever since she joined the stable.

Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer has reported that Dragon Lee was originally planned to face Dominik Mysterio on Raw, but the match was changed to Dragon Lee vs. Penta for the Intercontinental Championship due to Dominik missing the show. Alvarez noted that it appears Mysterio is in concussion protocol.

Mysterio ended Rey de Reyes with a nasty cut on the top of his head following a spot where El Hijo del Vikingo threw a steel chair at the AAA Mega Champion. Mysterio ultimately retained the AAA Mega Title, overcoming interference from Omos and Dorian Roldan before he hit Vikingo with a Frog Splash for the win. As a result of Dom's win, Vikingo can never challenge for the AAA Mega Title again while Mysterio is champion.
