WWE have revealed that Dominik Mysterio will be out of action indefinitely after suffering a shoulder injury.
As seen on the December 29 edition of WWE Raw, Liv Morgan noted how Dom would be “out for a little bit”, with Raw lead announcer Joe Tessitore later stating during the broadcast that Mysterio would be out indefinitely with a shoulder injury.
Earlier reports suggested Mysterio may have suffered a separated shoulder during his tag match with El Grande Americano against Rey Mysterio and Rey Fenix at AAA Guerra de Titanes on December 20.
Mysterio is the current reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion and AAA Mega Champion. As of writing there is no indication as to the seriousness of Mysterio’s condition nor how much time Dominik will miss while rehabbing and recovering from the injury. As such, there is no word as to plans for the IC and Mega Championships.
Dom is currently in the midst of his second run with the Intercontinental Title after defeating John Cena to reclaim the gold at WWE Survivor Series WarGames on November 29 in Cena’s final WWE PLE match.
