Dominik Mysterio Injured At AAA Guerra de Titanes

Dominik Mysterio could be set for a stint on the sidelines after sustaining an injury at AAA Guerra de Titanes on Saturday night.

Mysterio teamed with his Los Gringos Locos tag team partner El Grande Americano in the main event of Guerra de Titanes against his father Rey Mysterio and Rey Fenix. During the match, Rey hit Dominik with a DDT and the WWE Intercontinental Champion immediately grabbed his shoulder following the move. Dominik's arm was slumped by his side for the remainder of the match.

Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer has reported that Dominik Mysterio suffered a legitimate injury in the match. The presumption is Mysterio sustained a separated shoulder, although a final determination of the nature of the injury is currently unknown.

Dominik Mysterio ended up being pinned by his father in the tag team match after an interfering Penta stole El Grande Americano's steel bar and placed it in his own mask, before headbutting Dominik. This allowed Rey Mysterio to follow up with a 619 and splash for the win.

After the match, Dominik pushed away El Grande Americano. A confused Americano then eventually shook hands with Rey Mysterio.
