Colby Corino is sticking around in the National Wrestling Alliance.
The NWA have announced that Colby Corino has put pen to paper on a long-term deal with the promotion owned by Billy Corgan. Corino is currently out of action, having undergone emergency neck and spinal surgery in the summer of 2025 to fuse his fractured C5-C7 vertebrae.
While he is on the shelf, Corino appeared on NWA Powerrr in December and he will be featured at the promotion's tapings in Tampa, Florida on February 21.
Corino commented on his re-signing, tweeting: "My work at @nwa isn’t done. For the past 5 years I've been on a path of destiny; each accolade another step on the path to the ultimate goal. When I get back in the ring, I'm gunning for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship."
Colby Corino has been a part of the National Wrestling Alliance since 2019 and he is a former NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion. Colby is the son of former ECW World Heavyweight Champion and NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Steve Corino, who currently works in WWE as a backstage producer.
Corino had been a free agent prior to re-signing following the expiry of his NWA deal. Both WWE and All Elite Wrestling reportedly enquired about Colby Corino's contract status, although how far their interest in the 29-year-old went is unknown.
