Bronson Reed looks angry following his match with Seth Rollins at WWE Crown Jewel 2024

On Monday Night RAW this week, Bronson Reed suffered an unfortunate injury during a triple threat Elimination Chamber qualifying match, tearing his bicep when breaking up a pinfall attempt. This ruled him out of the match and out of the Elimination Chamber, with him originally scheduled to walk out as the winner of the qualifier. Although it was more-or-less a foregone conclusion, Reed’s status for WrestleMania 42 has now been revealed.

As noted by Fightful Select, Reed’s injury is severe enough to keep him out of WrestleMania 42 plans, with the expectation being that he will be sidelined through the show thanks to surgery. It was revealed soon after by the man himself that he had successfully undergone surgery for his distal bicep tear. Taking to social media, Reed posted a photo of himself in hospital with the caption of, “Surgery done. Tomorrow is DAY ONE. The road back.”

Following on from his injury on RAW, it was reported that WWE were heavily rewriting the ongoing mystery masked man storyline, with the “identity” of this masked man revealed during SmackDown’s main event.
