Brock Lesnar's jeans failed to withstand multiple F5s during the seven-time WWE Champion's return on the May 18 edition of Monday Night Raw.

While WWE had suggested that Lesnar was retired, Brock appeared on Raw as he attacked Oba Femi before the two-time NXT Champion could hold his latest open challenge. Lesnar proceeded to give Oba Femi three F5s, and his jeans survived the first F5, but they ripped following the second move, with Brock's boxer shorts exposed to the crowd on Monday Night Raw.

Lesnar could be seen briefly checking his jeans before he delivered a third F5 to Oba Femi to bring the segment to an end.

Lesnar is making a habit of destroying his jeans with F5s on WWE TV. A similar wardrobe malfunction occurred on the September 12, 2025 episode of SmackDown when Brock delivered an F5 to R-Truth.

Lesnar looks set to remain on WWE TV, at least for the time being, as Paul Heyman presented Raw GM Adam Pearce with a contract for Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi at Clash in Italy which had already been signed by Lesnar. Heyman told Pearce that if Oba Femi signed it, it would set up what the former ECW owner claimed would be the biggest rematch in history.

Brock Lesnar's WWE status had been unclear since the 48-year-old seemingly retired at WrestleMania 42, with Lesnar leaving his MMA gloves and boots in the ring following his loss to Oba Femi. Lesnar even signalled an 'X' to the crowd to suggest his retirement was legitimate, with an emotional Lesnar embracing Paul Heyman before Brock waved to the crowd as he headed to the back.

WWE played into the idea that Lesnar was retired, moving him to the 'Forever' section of the 'Then. Now. Forever' opening to WWE TV, and Lesnar was also moved to the alumni section of the roster page on WWE.com. There was doubt over whether Lesnar was actually retired, though, and he was still listed as an active performer internally by WWE, being categorised as a free agent.
