Brock Lesnar Open Challenge Issued For WWE WrestleMania 42

Brock Lesnar is set to compete at WWE WrestleMania 42, with the multi-time WWE Champion throwing out an ‘open challenge’ for the two-night event.

Lesnar was present on the February 23 edition of WWE RAW alongside advocate Paul Heyman, with Heyman noting how WrestleMania used to host two main events; the WWE Championship match, and whomever faced The Undertaker. Heyman noted how the only ‘dead man walking’ in WWE was whomever faced Lesnar, before throwing out an open challenge for the ‘Showcase of the Immortals’, and revealing Lesnar’s upcoming schedule.

Per Heyman, Lesnar is currently scheduled to appear on March 16th in San Antonio, March 23 in Boston, March 30 in New York City, April 6 in Houston, and April 13 in Sacramento on the road to WrestleMania in Nevada’s Allegiant Stadium on April 18 and 19 2026.

Reports stated that plans were in place to run Lesnar vs. LA Knight at Mania, but it is unclear if these are still in place.
