Big E will become the latest professional wrestler to release a book, with the former WWE Champion having inked a book deal.
A report from Fightful Select stated that the former New Day member will be working on his memoirs, with the book set to be based in part on the ‘Sour’ Player’s Tribune article penned by Big E - real name Ettore Ewen.
With this deal, Big E becomes the latest name in the storied annals of pro-wrestling to write their memoirs, a trend pioneered by Mick Foley with the release of Have a Nice Day in 1999. Numerous pro-wrestlers have since written autobiographies, with the likes of Chris Jericho, Bret Hart, Adam ‘Edge’ Copeland, and Becky Lynch just a handful of the names to have released books.
Although Big E’s in-ring career came to a premature end in 2022 after suffering a broken neck, he remains part of WWE, working primarily as part of their premium live event broadcast team. Despite an in-ring return not looking likely, Big E has lamented the fact he never got to wrestle Goldberg prior to ‘Da Man’s in-ring retirement at the hands of GUNTHER at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XL.
