Benjamin 'PAC' Satterley Passes Away

Benjamin Satterley, better known as PAC in All Elite Wrestling, has passed away suddenly aged 40.

The news of Satterley’s passing was broken by AEW late on Sunday, September 27, with Satterley having competed only the night prior at the All Out 2026 pay-per-view event.

“All Elite Wrestling is saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka Pac. A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and went on to perform for wrestling organizations all over the world, captivating fans with innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability. Pac signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019 and held multiple AEW Championships and competed in some of the most memorable matches in AEW history. Our condolences go out to Satterley’s family, friends and fans,” said AEW in a statement on Satterley’s passing.

Widely regarded as one of the soundest in-ring performers of his generation, Satterley was a son of Newcastle upon Tyne, making his name across the UK independent scene before transitioning to the US scene. Wrestling for the likes of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla and Dragon Gate USA, and Dragon Gate prime in Japan, Satterley soon caught the attention of WWE, who signed him in 2012. In WWE, Satterley - under the names Adrian Neville and simply Neville - won the NXT and Cruiserweight championships, amongst other accolades, before walking out of the company in 2017, with his release granted in August 2018 after a contract freeze.

Joining the fledgling All Elite Wrestling upon its creation in 2019, Satterley - once again wrestling under the PAC moniker - would reign as a two-time AEW World Trios Champion as part of Death Triangle and The Death Riders, and also stands as the inaugural AEW International Champion (fka All-Atlantic Championship).
