Tatum Paxley making her SmackDown debut

During the main event of this week’s August 7 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, in which Charlotte Flair defeated rival Jade Cargill in singles action, a surprising moment occurred in which former NXT Women’s North American Champion Tatum Paxley made her unexpected main roster debut. The now former NXT name arrived to take out the duo of Michin & B-Fab, before celebrating in the ring with former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair. More has been learned about her Friday Night SmackDown debut.

Per a report from False Finish HQ, sources behind the scenes have indicated that the brains behind the debut was none other than multi-time WWE Women’s World Champion, Charlotte Flair. It is stated that it was Flair herself who made the personal request to have Tatum Paxley join her and Alexa Bliss as allies on Friday Night SmackDown.

Paxley signed with WWE back in 2021 before making her debut on NXT programming in 2022. She would go on to secure one reign as the NXT Women’s North American Champion throughout her spell on WWE’s developmental roster. Rumours of a call-up began rumbling within the last two months for Paxley.
