Aside from the very early reports suggesting that Seth Rollins’ injury at Saturday Night’s Main Event was a work, there was still a lack of 100% certainty over his status, what with him appearing on crutches publicly and no concrete reports emerging that claimed Rollins’ injury was, without a single doubt, fake. Some more details have emerged regarding Rollins’ injury work and how many people were swerved.

Fightful Select have revealed that Rollins’ injury was treated as real by many backstage in WWE, including medics and producers immediately after the incident at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Worry then spread amongst those close to Rollins as he hadn’t divulged anything regarding the injury, with the only thing to emerge was him being on crutches both backstage at the Evolution event and in public.

When it comes to his Money In The Bank cash-in at SummerSlam over CM Punk, it wasn’t on internal rundowns and WWE staff backstage were not in the know about his cash-in. The work went as far as Rollins’ training school, and trainees were conned into believing the injury too. It is also noted that WWE Unreal cameras were in Gorilla during Rollins’ cash-in, which could suggest a look at this work in the series.
