Andrade is reportedly no longer in WWE. The former United States Champion and Speed Champion has seemingly exited the company, ending his current tenure after just 18 months.
Fightful Select have confirmed that Andrade is not a part of the WWE roster and has parted ways with the promotion, following on from @WrestleMobs of BodySlam.net noting that he was moved to WWE’s alumni section and likely done with the company.
It is noted that his departure from WWE is an isolated scenario and not a part of any further WWE cuts. The report goes into some more detail, stating that in August he was not listed on WWE’s internal injury lists despite his absence from television. A WWE source reportedly claimed that his exit has been in the works for at least a week.
Jon Alba of Sports Illustrated revealed that Andrade’s exit was not a mutual decision, and he was “effectively released” from the company, meaning that this was not simply a case of a contract expiration, as his deal ran longer than 18 months after signing in 2024. There are currently no further details on whether Andrade had requested his release or whether this was a WWE decision. Cultaholic previously revealed an exclusive which suggested Andrade was one of a few in WWE pushing for the return of Alberto Del Rio.
