There are several wrestlers on the current AEW roster with dual-promotion contracts, with the likes of Hechicero, Persephone, Claudio Castagnoli, Mistico, and Mascara Dorada all working with dual AEW & CMLL deals, along with the likes of Gabe Kidd who work in both AEW and NJPW. Another name has now joined that list.

Reports emerged earlier yesterday on Fightful Select that there were plans in place to offer Thunder Rosa a dual deal between AEW and CMLL, something she has openly been desiring. This deal would run concurrently alongside her current AEW contract, which is believed to expire in 2027. It was noted that the contract would be revealed soon, and this did indeed take place later that day.

At CMLL’s April 3 event last night, Thunder Rosa revealed live that she’d signed a dual contract between CMLL and AEW, confirming reports. Rosa returned to AEW programming in February of this year after over six months outside of the ring and not competing, with her previous match in AEW coming in July of last year. Her most recent outing came last month in an unsuccessful challenge for the AEW Women’s World Title.
