Willow Nightingale has put pen-to-paper on a new deal with All Elite Wrestling, committing her future to the company.
Nightingale is one of the most popular stars of AEW’s women’s division, and recent reports suggested Willow was in a contract year with the promotion. A follow-up from Fightful Select states that a deal was done ‘almost immediately’ after news of Willow’s contract situation was made public, with AEW seeing the re-signing of Nightingale as a priority.
Whilst the exact length of the deal has not been made public, it is believed that Nightingale has signed a multi-year deal, and has communicated that she is very happy in the company.
Originally part of Ring of Honor upon Tony Khan’s purchase of the legendary indie promotion, Nightingale was announced as ‘All Elite’ in October 2022, and has since gone on to have one reign as TBS Champion, and is a former Owen Hart Cup Winner (2023), and New Japan STRONG Women’s Champion as part of AEW’s partnership with NJPW.
On-screen, Nightingale is part of The Opps vs. Death Riders storyline, and is set to be involved in Anarchy in the Arena at Double or Nothing on May 25.
