A brand new event may be in store for AEW fans as the company have trademarked a term that looks to potentially be the name of a soon-to-be created PPV, and it could come as soon as the next months. According to Mat Men Podcast’s Andrew Zarian, the recently trademarked ‘AEW Redemption’ is likely the name for a new PPV event.

When we will see this new AEW PPV is uncertain and not yet announced, but AEW’s PPV calendar in 2026 has a slot in July free on the road to AEW All In 2026. Currently scheduled for May is Double Or Nothing 2026 and June will be Forbidden Door, but over the last few years AEW has often not booked a show for either June or July, leaving an open gap. .

Including AEW Redemption into the PPV schedule would mean AEW’s PPV calendar increases to ten events, alongside Revolution, Dynasty, Double Or Nothing, Forbidden Door, All In, All Out, WrestleDream, Full Gear, and Worlds End. AEW is looking to expand, with Tony Khan mentioned recently that he was looking for more cross-promotion between AEW and ITV, for instance.
