WWE NXT star Adriana Rizzo is set for a spell on the sidelines after revealing that she is dealing with a torn ACL and meniscus.

In a social media post, Rizzo wrote: "Here we go again… torn ACL + meniscus. A setback, not the end. As some of you know, I've had a string of bad luck with injuries. Ready to attack this and come back 100% healthy for the first time in my WWE career".

In 2023, Rizzo missed five months with a ruptured Achilles tendon and was later out for just under four months after suffering a partial ACL tear in 2024.

The 26-year-old last wrestled on a non-televised live event on April 18, but has been featured on NXT television as part of the D'Angelo Family storyline since then.

Rizzo - real name Anna Keefer - was a star track athlete and a five-time NCAA All-American prior to signing with WWE in 2022.

It is unknown how long Rizzo will be sidelined for, with a torn ACL typically taking anywhere from six months to over a year to recover from, depending on the severity of the injury.

Another prospective NXT talent, Aria Bennett, also recently underwent surgery to repair a torn ACL.
