It emerged over the last week that WWE had reportedly removed rapper Westside Gunn from the November 4 Monday Night RAW show. This reportedly stemmed from issues regarding Gunn using WWE’s IP in his music, with Gunn himself claiming that WWE “threatened” him to remove content from his songs.

When it comes to WWE’s side of the situation, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter claimed that one source noted that the incident of him being removed from an event came back in March, not in November. In terms of WWE’s issues with Gunn himself, it is reported that things began when Westside Gunn put up a huge image of Virgil & Ted DiBiase in Times Square without WWE’s permission. The excuse of DiBiase finding it cool was not believed to be a good enough excuse for Gunn to use a WWE image.

Not only that, but when Westside Gunn was in a suite for the SummerSlam premium live event, those in WWE were allegedly unhappy that some of his crew made posts to social media claiming that they were sleeping and bored during the show.
