WWE Signs Another AAA Star

It looks like another AAA star has signed with WWE.

Sources close to Cassidy Haynes of BodySlam.net claim that Octagon Jr. has been telling people that he is working his final dates and fulfilling commitments ahead of joining WWE.

BodySlam.net noted that they have been told the luchador has signed a WWE contract and will not be accepting any more independent dates moving forward.

Octagon Jr. was part of WWE x AAA Worlds Collide, competing in the opening six-man tag. After his team were victorious, Octagon Jr. had a physical confrontation with Dominik Mysterio.

This led to an Intercontinental Championship match later that evening at Money in the Bank, with Mysterio retaining his title.

As well as AAA, Octagon Jr. has recently competed for various indies, GLEAT in Japan and even had a few matches in TNA.

WWE have also reportedly signed AAA's Psycho Clown to a deal. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr, El Hijo del Vikingo, La Parka, La Hiedra, Lady Flammer, Lady Maravilla and Niño Hamburguesa are all reportedly under WWE deals.

According to Konnan, WWE's 'end game' for AAA is to secure a television deal in the United States.
