WWE will present their second-ever all-female pay-per-view on Sunday, July 13 with Evolution 2.

Despite WWE talent and fans having long pushed for a sequel to the original Evolution, which took place in 2018, ticket sales for the event haven't been as positive as recent WWE events.

In the F4WOnline Daily Update, Dave Meltzer noted that WWE have shifted 4,804 tickets for Evolution 2, which will emanate from State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. This will likely end up being the lowest paid attendance for a WWE PPV since Stomping Grounds, which took place in Tacoma, Washington in June 2019 and attracted around 6,000 fans.

In the Daily Update, Dave Meltzer expressed his belief that Evolution 2 would have easily sold out, had it taken place last week at the Mohegan Sun Casino as originally planned.

WWE instead opted to hold the show this coming weekend, a day after the Saturday Night's Main Event that will feature Goldberg's retirement match, in an attempt to counter AEW All In weekend.

WWE talent were reportedly not thrilled with the planning of Evolution 2, which will not only go up against All In, but also takes place during MLB All-Star Weekend, while a Beyonce concert is happening across the street.
