Willie Mack on AEW Collision

A series of tweets by Willie Mack, coupled with the news that Lady Frost's AEW deal was set to expire, led many to believe that he was also about to depart the company after three years.

However, following the publication of articles which claimed that Mack was due to exit Tony Khan's company, the man himself wrote on social media that he was still with the company and was not, contrary to what some fans believed, on a per-appearance deal.

In an update, Fightful Select have clarified that Mack was on a 'tier zero' contract when he first joined the company, which is essentially a paid-per-appearance deal. He was then given a full-time position within the last two years, which paid him a salary.

Recently, Mack was moved to a tier zero deal, effectively moving him back to being paid per-appearance.

The 39-year-old has not wrestled for AEW or sister promotion Ring of Honor in 2026. His last AEW match was a loss to Wheeler Yuta on the March 1, 2025 episode of Collision.

Of late, Mack has been working for promotions such as Juggalo Championship Wrestling, Game Changer Wrestling and House of Glory.
