Update On Steven Borden After Match Stoppage At AEW All Out 2026

A worrying moment took place at AEW All Out 2026 when Steven Borden landed in worrying fashion after colliding with Kevin Knight in a big dive in which both men leapt from opposite turnbuckles, meeting in the middle. A replay showed that Borden fell flat and hit his head on the mat, looking glazed in the aftermath. The referee took a very quick decision to call off the match and hand the victory to the team of Knight & Kyle Fletcher, who became the new number one contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Titles. There has been a positive update on Borden’s status. 

During the All Out 2026 post-show press conference, Khan spoke on the condition of Borden, revealing that the initial CT scan on Borden showed nothing worrying and looked good. The hope was that Borden would be discharged from hospital the following day, suggesting that he will make a recovery. 

AEW’s commentary updated fans throughout the night, revealing during the All Out 2026 broadcast that Borden had been taken to hospital but was awake and responsive - something reiterated by Khan.
