Update On Future Of The IInspiration In AEW

It has been over six months since The IInspiration pairing of Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee signed deals with AEW, though you’d be forgiven if the former WWE & TNA Tag Team Champions had slipped from your mind. The pair have largely been confined to the Ring Of Honor brand ever since putting pen to paper on contracts, though they have not been seen since all the way back in June. More has been learned about their current status. 

According to a report from Fightful Select, the current plans are for Cassie Lee to be used “periodically” on ROH television as a singles competitor, with Jessie McKay currently ruled out of action. This comes after McKay made the announcement that she is pregnant over the last couple of months. Expect to see more from Lee going forwards in Ring Of Honor in the time that McKay is absent. 

It was revealed shortly following their debut in Australia that The IInspiration had put pen to paper on multi-time year contracts in AEW/ROH, so it is likely that fans will see the tag team reunite at some point in the next few years.
