Next weekend features AEW All In Texas 2025, in what will be the promotion’s biggest ever drawing show in the US as the company takes over the Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas on July 12. The night prior, ROH Supercard Of Honor 2025 will also be taking place, offering up a big weekend for Tony Khan’s promotions. Following AEW’s initial announcements, WWE proceeded to stack up the weekend too.

Across July 12 and 13, WWE will be hosting NXT Great American Bash, Saturday Night’s Main Event (which will feature Goldberg’s retirement match), and the second ever Evolution premium live event. Tony Khan had recently acknowledged that he considered WWE were counter-programming AEW, stating that he hadn’t seen it on this level since the Jim Crockett Promotions era.

Speaking in an interview with WFAA, Khan was asked again about his response to WWE’s counter-programming, though he kept his focus on AEW.

"Well, I think we're going to put on a great event, and we have to focus on putting on the best event we can with the best wrestlers in the world. So that's a lot of fun. So we're going to have a great show next Saturday afternoon, and we're very focused on what AEW is doing, and AEW fans, and I think that's served us really well."

Khan also recently commented on the prospect of a ROH rebrand, in addition to the status of a potential third weekly show for AEW
