WWE engaged in their usual post-WrestleMania releases earlier in 2026, whether that be those let go from the promotion or certain names who rejected proposals on altered deals which would have seen them take reduced pay. It is finally time for many of the 90-day non-compete clauses for these wrestlers to expire, officially departing WWE and making them free to wrestle and sign elsewhere.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the following names are set to be free agents at midnight on July 23 over the next week; Taylor Rotunda (Uncle Howdy/Bo Dallas), Joseph Ruby (Joe Gacy), Joseph Rudd (Erick Rowan), Samuel Shaw (Dexter Lumis), Tom Bugden (Aleister Black), Thea Trinidad (Zelina Vega), Kairi Housako (Kairi Sane), Jorge Alcantar (Santos Escobar), Theresa Serrano (Zoey Stark), Chris Sabin (Chris Sabin), and Patrick Martin (Alex Shelley).

Sabin & Shelley of the Motor City Machine Guns made their first steps towards free agency with a social media video over the last few days. Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods of The New Day are not expected to be free agents until August.
