Redemption Estimated To Be AEW's Lowest PPV Buys Of 2026

AEW Redemption 2026 was AEW’s most divisive PPV of the whole year thus far. After what many considered to be a hot streak of shows, Redemption received mixed reviews in online discussions and in ratings on the likes of Cagematch.net. This divisiveness is also reflected in the estimated PPV buys for the show. 

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, early estimates for AEW Redemption 2026 PPV buys suggest that it will be the lowest of the year thus far, down from the recent Forbidden Door PPV and Dynasty 2026, both of which were the lowest two shows this year so far. The numbers for the show are reportedly around 115,000 to 125,000. More details are also included, with it being noted that Google searches were up 41% domestically and 25% worldwide from the previous Forbidden Door event, though this interest didn’t reflect in the number of PPV buys.

Several big moments occurred at the Redemption event such as Willow Nightingale’s long-awaited AEW Women’s World Championship win, which was reportedly a result of changed plans in the AEW women’s division.
