Triple H and Jelly Roll on WWE SummerSlam post-show

Jelly Roll returned to WWE programming on Friday Night SmackDown this week, getting involved multiple times during the night. He came face-to-face with The Miz during an edition of MizTV, exchanging promos with both The Miz and Kit Wilson before laying out the host with a big right hand. Later in the night, Jelly Roll was also pushed to the ground by Randy Orton as he attempted to stop the violent heelish attack from Orton on WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

After reports this week revealed that there were some ongoing talks regarding Jelly Roll’s status ahead of WrestleMania, more has now been learned by BodySlam+ about a potential match at the show for the music star. There have been talks for a potential tag team match featuring Jelly Roll on the show, teaming with the recently debuted Royce Keys, who hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since his appearance at the 2026 Royal Rumble.

It is noted that the idea would see the two paired up due to both having stories of hardship in their lives. It was reported earlier this month that WWE had no plans in place for Keys, so this would be a positive step in his main roster journey.
