Chad Gable Undergoes Shoulder Surgery

WWE star Chad Gable has had successful shoulder surgery.

The American Made leader was written off television after being attacked by Penta on the June 23 episode of Raw. It was later revealed that Gable had been working hurt for some time and could be out for up to six months after the operation.

In a post-surgery video posted to his Instagram, a groggy Gable said, "What's up dudes? I made it", while noting that he was watching one of the Rambo films on television from his hospital bed.

Though an exact timeline for his return has not been outlined, Gable wrote "I'll be back quicker than you can say GRACIAS!" in a nod to his El Grande Americano alter-ego.

As Americano, the 39-year-old is the current WWE Speed Champion, having held the title since defeating Dragon Lee for the title on May 5.

It is unknown whether Americano will be forced to vacate the title with Gable sidelined. However, on the June 30 edition of Raw, the legendary luchador resurfaced. Only this time, El Grande Americano was portrayed by Ludwig Kaiser.
