Bully Ray (AKA Bubba Ray Dudley) has opened up about the frustration he felt after the Dudley Boyz returned to WWE in 2015.
During a recent edition of Busted Open Radio, Bully noted that there were positives to the experience but, ultimately, the way Vince McMahon chose to utilise the Hall of Fame tag team left him feeling unhappy.
"WWE offered me and D-Von more money, more comfortable flying accommodations, more comfortable hotel accommodations when we went back in 2015, 2016. But the way Vince McMahon used the Dudleys left such a bad taste in my mouth that I said, 'Vince, I can't do this Dudley thing the way you want to do it anymore'", he said.
The Dudleys initially enjoyed some success during their comeback run, but were primarily used to put other teams, such as the New Day and Wyatt Family, over. Their run finished up at SummerSlam 2016.
The multi-time former tag team champions signed WWE Legends deals in September 2023. D-Von subsequently confirmed that they had no desires to return to the company in an active capacity.
D-Von would, however, be open to a WWE return for the 'Triple H Era'.
